Flights booked!!!!!

We booked our flights with BA today for our trip next year! Can't believe its booked after months and months of having to change the dates due to one thing or another! We fly August 23rd for 15 nights via Gatwick (from Dublin) Got the 4 of us (2 adults, a child and a lap infant) for just under €1800,could have went US Airways for €120 less but the BA planes are nicer. Now to get accommodation sorted, offsite villa for 12 nights and either Poly or CR for final 3 nights. Bring on the magic, only 294 days and counting!!!!

Thanks guys Can't wait to be closer to ADR time crabbie!! Our trip was originally planned for next June but got pushed back, our countdown is 63 days longer than we anticipated HOWEVER more time to plan!!

We also booked 3 nights in the Poly today for the end of our trip! I am soooo excited, hoping most construction will be done by then but either way we will enjoy the proximity to MK! Time to start planning the ADRs now! I loooooove to plan!

On another note, I told my eldest son that we are going to be staying in a "big house" near the princess castle. He didn't really get too excited seei g as hes just 2.5 however he did tell me he couldn't wait to hug Beast (thanks for giving me a pretty impossible ADR task kid!!!) and he needs to tell Grumpy to stop being angry! Lol. He cracks me up!!

Did you check out the price of Aer Lingus direct from Dublin ?

I know it flies out on Saturday 22nd August ( at 2pm & arrives at 6 .30 pm ) & not on Sunday 23rd

but looking at the price might just have saved you some money .

Oh I have kept an eye on them alright but they have just stayed going up unfortunately. Indirect saved us about 900 euro! Better in my pocket, indirect isn't too much of a hassle to be honest. Only part I dislike is customs in MCO but for a saving like that I'll take it lol. Historically AL flight sales for that time of year wouldn't make it worth our while even waiting on a sale, it would be doubtful the flights would decrease by enough to compare to indirect prices.
I am just happy its all booked now and at a price I was willing to pay. I am so used to flying at off peak times when flights can be snapped up for way less, pricing this trip has been an eye opener! But I am nothing if not a bargain hunter
