Hi. We are 95 days out and I am wondering when the best time book our filghts would be. We are flying out of YEG (Edmonton, AB Canada) on either August 18th around midnight or August 19 bright and early (No later than 7 am) with United.

Prices have been fluctuating around 670-710 since january and tonight we see them at 597. Should we pull the trigger or wait a bit longer to book?

Flight prices have been ridiculous. Our flights have dropped $8 since the day the schedule opened. With a $70 drop, I would book without hesitation.

I called united as I have a sever allergy and wanted to figure out if I would be okay for food. The lady I talked to gave me a summary of prices she has seen on similar flights and all the prices were at about 620+ one was lower but only by about 20$ so I think we are booking in the morning before work. Plus this is the only one all month to have a Saturday late night departure that works with my work schedule so I would hate to lose it.

I think you should book it. it's already gone down, and since flight times work well with your schedule, then don't pass it up. Shame it's not lower - but even if it DID go lower, how much would it and probably just better to grab it now and be done with it.

No worries. You won't be served a meal on flights from YEG-MCO on United in economy class. You can check their website for snacks which will be available for purchase:

I suggest bringing your own food anyway. By the way, United does not serve peanuts as snacks, if that was your worry.

I would have bought these tickets several months ago. I suggest buying them asap.

As others have said, I'd book NOW. I wouldn't even wait until tomorrow, it might be too late. I watch airfare almost daily, and I've seen prices fluctuate many times a day. Especially with a price drop, it's not going to stay around long, maybe not even until tomorrow.

Good luck!

I booked them last night out of fear I would miss out! They are the same on Expedia but I guess we will see what happens.

As for my allergy, it is a seafood allergy. Fortunately it will be fine!
