Do you think arriving at Orlando airport at 1:28 is too late? We'll be heading right to the ship for our 1st 7-day Disney Cruise.

Personally, I think that's cutting it close. If your flight is delayed for some reason you would really be pushing it and could possibly miss the ship.

I'd try to arrive in the morning or the day ahead if you can. :)

That is cutting it close....all aboard is around 3:00 or 3:30 and drill is at 4:00. It takes a little under an hour to get to the ship, but I have been stuck in traffic for quite awhile due to an accident on the beeline.

I'd be in a total panic! Even though the "usual" arrival time for the morning flight from Grand Rapids to Orlando is 10 - 10:30 am we're opting to fly in the day before so we aren't stressing the clock at the start of the vacation.

I agree with Michelle, either an earlier flight or the day before would be better.

Stressful. On my last cruise I had to fly out alone. My DH could not go out at the same time I did because he had a court case. By the time he found out it was cancelled, I could not get him on my plane. He had to catch a morning of the cruise flight which was supposed to land at 1pm. I was waiting in the airport only to find out that his plane was delayed. I thought I would have a stroke! I was running around that airport like a mad woman, finding out when the last bus was leaving to the pier, etc. Luckily we made it, but never again. This was only going to the Miami pier which is closer. If you can possibly change that time, please do. Don't start your trip stressed.

Thank you for your responses. I have learned so much from these boards.
