flight reservations for 7

I am looking to see if anyone knows if you have to book a flight for 7 by calling the airline or can you do it online? I see some places online where you can't but others were it may be possible. max people to book is 6 it states. I am afraid calling airlines - the price may be a lot higher than I can get online. we are looing for travel 4/17-4/24 and there are two groups of us - 7 from CT and 2 from VT.

any suggesstions??

We have 7 people going on our trip in August, and 11 on the return flight. I booked 5 reservations going & then 2. It is too early to reserve seats on Spirit, I have to wait until May 5. I'm just gonna try and book them together when I reserve seats.

Also, I have found with Northwest when I had to exchange vouchers that the phone price was the same as online. I would look online first and then call.

You should find that online and phone prices are pretty close. You may not be able to find 7 discounted tickets. Try breaking it up into groups and see if the price changes.
