Does anyone know if there is an elevator to take to get out of this ride the many flights of stairs to get out is more than my knees can take anymore

There are accommodations for guests who can't negotiate stairs.

Consider that guests using wheelchairs can board the attraction, as long as they can transfer from the chair to the ride vehicle.

I didnt know there were stairs! Thanks for the heads up! Big no for me!

There's three levels to the attraction. You never know which level you'll end up on. But they do have elevators - I recall that from our last time on it when they diverted a few people to them.

Just ask to be on the level that you get sent to pre-show. My Mom has a scooter but cannot do stairs, so we always give them the scooter (she can stand and walk for a bit) and then we stay all on that level and come out to the scooter on the other side. I did not realize right away there was more than 1 level since I had always been on the lowest one with my Mom.

When you are on the ride, you have no idea there are different levels. I was surprised when we got off that we had to go down so many flights of stairs. It got me wondering, so I found a cool video that gives you a better idea of how the ride works.

Spoiler: it could ruin the magic.
