Flight of passage with ankle injury?

I tore a ligament in my ankle and am wearing a brace, a smaller one that I can take off. It doesn’t let me move my foot side to side. Do you think I can use it on FOP? I could remove it, but am fearful the ride might jostle my ankle. I know you’re seated for the ride, but do you put weight on your ankles while riding it? I’m so hopeful I can experience it!
