Flight of Passage, okay for a 6 year old?

My 6 year old loves it, it's her favorite ride! She got to ride it 3 times on her birthday! I would bring something to help with the glasses, they are huge. I let her wear my hat and she tucked them in underneath it on the sides.

It's definitely dependent on kiddo. The biggest concern I would have is that everyone is on individual "bikes" - making it difficult to cuddle/console a frightened child (vs, say, BTMRR where you can snake an arm around and snuggle them to your side if necessary.)

My daughter freaked out before the ride because of the glasses. I forgot to take a headband to keep them on. She is 5 and will ride anything else. Tells everyone her favorite ride is Tower of Terror.
My husband ended up taking her out.

I will plan better and take a headband. She was worried about losing the glasses. I think if I solved that problem, she would love it.

My DD7 and 9 year old nephew would ride it all day every day. My timid DS5 has no desire to ride and I'm not going to pressure him when we go in 2 weeks!

My 6-year-old loves roller coasters (Space Mountain was her favorite), but she freaked out at FOP last week and we had to go out the chicken exit. I will say, she doesn’t like Soarin (she tends to get motion sickness), but what really did it, I think, was all the buildup. The preshow stuff just freaked her out, and at the end, they warn you that it’s intense and to tell a CM if you don’t want to ride. I looked down at her and she was shaking and on the verge of tears. So we gave up on that one for her this year.

ETA: To me, it was like a much more intense version of Soarin. After I rode it, I felt pretty confident that my daughter would have hated it and was glad she didn’t ride.
