I have friends who are not members of DIS (Can you believe it??) They are taking a 4-night Disney Cruise and are not sure what time to book their return flight for.

Their options are either 1:15pm or 4:45pm. If you deboard at approximately 8:30am and have transfers included in their package, should they be able to get to the airport in time for a 1:15pm flight?

Thanks much!

Diane

It's about an hour, or less, from the port to MCO. Making it in time for a 1:15 flight should not be a problem, even if they are delayed leaving the ship.

What is involved when you leave the ship? Customs? Boarding buses? I too would have a 1:30pm flight out of MCO and since I'm flying out of the U.S. I need to be at MCO approx 2 hours before flight. Will I make it?

mom_rules - it depends upon the individual. Debarking can get pretty ugly with all the crying, hand prying off the ship's railing, cabin door barricading...

:earsboy: We just reurned from the Magic - eastern 102503. Our Delta flight left mco at 11:40. When we disembarked, we told the Delta representative that we had an early flight - he took us to the front of the line. We arrived with no problems - and more than an hour to spare. The trip was wonderful - and we have booked the same stateroom 7054 for next year. We've had the same room for the past 3 years - October cruises! Love to bring down the top bunk and use if for our suitcases and new purchases.
