flight help for a newbie

hi all apologies for this but starting to freakout already about flights for next year lol, i have booked hotel and park tickets through disney for aug16, i want to book a universal hotel for a week later on aswell.
my question is can i add flights through disney if the dates are different to the hotel dates, if so how do i do that in september and would i need to just pay a deposit or pay full price up front. How do people book their flights.
I am a complete newbie to this and this is our first family holiday with flying so freaking out abit to day

If you book flights yourself disney will moves dates for no charge if you need to move hotel by a day or two to tie in with flights. I use skyscanner and kayak to search for flights. Yes you will need to pay in full. Do consider indirect flights i.e 1 stop in america to change plane. It can save a lot.
Not sure re booking flights through disney sorry - always sort our own.

Lets start at the beginning. ........ Think ..... And Forget what you have booked so far.

Select dates that You Hope to have your holidays .

Select Flights .... Dates ... And different airlines . AND PRICE . That will be best for your Holiday time.

16th August is Tuesday ..... then try price Via Aer Lingus to Dublin & from Dublin Direct to Orlando International ( MCO )

Leaves Dublin at 2pm & arrives Orlando at 6.30 pm NOTE Dates ARE OVER A YEAR AWAY SO NO BOOKING can be made YET .

YOUR return Could be on Tuesday 30th Aug. or the next Direct Flight Day .

So your hotel booking should still stand ...... Just pay a Deposit if you are allowed to do this.

Then when you have Fixed your return day place a deposit for other hotel

Don't panic!!

I believe someone called and asked and you can book flights through Disney for different dates to you hotel stay. If you do this you just have to pay the increased deposit and your pay in full date moves to be slightly early (12 weeks out I think).

Other options are to look at fly drives where you can pay a deposit only.

If you book flight only you will have to pay in full up front.

The charter airlines (Thomas Cook & Thompson) have flights out for August 16 already. All the rest of the scheduled airlines will release at the 11 month mark.

School holiday flights are expensive there are savings if you are willing to fly indirect so that may be an option too.

We are always very fixed on dates and have always got something to suit. You will get a flight!

I'm waiting to book flights through Disney since I have booked everything else through them. it's 11 months before you can actually book,it's a deposit you pay which is £100 each.

Hi so I booked flights for 5/8/16 to 19/8/16 would Disney do that if my hotel is book with from 8th to 16th, as my plan is to stay in universal from 5th-8th then cbr from 8th to 16 then may be add on a few nights at aoa if we can afford it.

How do you book the flights with them do you look for the flight you want then ring them and say you want that flight or just see what flight they offer you , thank you
