Delta added another stop on our flight from SFO to MCO Dec 6ht/7th (we were stopping in LA, now it's LA and Atl) which doesn't bother me at all (we had super cheap tickets) However, on Delta's site, it won't let me choose seats for the 2 new legs. They don't even come up on the seat map. Should I be nervous? After they switch your flights do you need to confirm or something to be able to pick seats?

Thanks

If you were put on different flights or equipment, you no longer have seatassignements. Call Delta directly, asap to get them.

It's possible that they will not assign them now, depending on how many are left, if that is the case, you will have to wait until you get to the airport.

Possibility....Is this a continuing direct flight? If it is (stops but no change of plane) you only get one seat assignment for the whole trip.

Delta put us on two new flights - DC to MCO... and assigned us new seats... without being asked... my online itinerary reflects new seat assignments... but with an option to change them if I want to...

When United cancelled the return flight for our upcoming trip, they automatically gave us seat assignments on the one they switched us to. I don't know how much say we would have had if we were not happy with them, but they turned out to be the exact same seat numbers. Now I have my fingers crossed that the new flight doesn't get cancelled in this latest round of United cutbacks!!!
