Who have you booked with? Any company you would avoid? We are flying out of Edmonton, would prefere straight through, and like to stay across the street from the parks. Thanks!!

I have booked with Expedia once for WDW and once for our upcoming trip to DL. I was able to get airfare from Boise to LAX and five nights at the BWPPI for $321 pp (six people). At the time just airfare was $315 pp so it was a great deal IMO :teeth: . I will always check expedia before making trip reservations elsewhere.

I've booked packages all over the world with Expedia, Travelocity, and Orbitz. The only complaint I've ever had was with Expedia. I added a city tour in Tokyo with my Expedia package. Everything was advertised in English. Even got a confirmation email from the tour company in English. When we took the tour, they only spoke Japanese. Oh well.

I can't help you with flights, but some of the hotels I would suggest pricing would be Carousel Inn, Best Western Park Place Inn, Tropicana Inn, Camelot Inn, Howard Johnsons, Fairfield Inn or Desser Inn and Suites. I've stayed at all of these except Best Western (only becuase I've gotten lower prices elsewhere) and would happily stay again.

We usually book with Disney travel. They have payment options, so you dont have to pay it all at once. They also have little perks that you dont get with other booking companies. If you have Costco membership, you might book thru them. They use Disney travel and add a few extras. However, I always check for flights on travelocity first. That way I know which flight time and airline has the cheapest rates. Then I chose those when I book with Disney.

We have booked through Alaska Air for packages. We have gotton great deals. Especailly when they run kids fly free.

We also use Alaska Air, I don't know how but when I price the same thing on expedia Alaska air is cheaper.......

This also has happened with me. I usually go to expedia and see what is available and then go to the Alaska Air web site.

:offtopic: I noticed in your signature that you stayed at the HOJo any review? I was thinking about staying there.

We leave in 10 days, so I will let you know. We have always stayed at DLH before, but just can't afford to this time, I hear HOJO's is great, so we will see......

I've booked with Travelocity and Expedia. Both are excellent but I definately prefer Travelocity cause I find their prices to be WAAAAAAY better.

I am not loyal to any one company-lol! I just shop around (all online) and almost always beat any package deal. I use Kayak.com to check out airfare and then search for hotel specials. I always look for deals like the gift card or the one night free and whoever has it, like expedia or travelocity, I go with it. We have never been disappointed using either of these or any of the airline bookings.

I even shop other airlines websites for hotel deals. If I fly Southwest for example, they may not have the best hotel price but you can still book a hotel room independent of the flight, car rentals too. Last big trip we took, we booked a flight with delta, car on southwest and hotel through the hotel's own website because those were the best prices-lol! Tickets are the same price through Disney.com so we just get them online ahead of time or pick them up at AAA (but you don't have that in Canada, do you?)

We flew with Westjet out of Calgary just after Christmas last year. We booked in April, paid $389 plus tax per person round trip to LAX. Price only went up after that, though there were some seat sales we could have switched over to had the dates worked for us (lower season). We did find we had to check our reservations every so often, as they changed the flight times on the flight down and moved the flight back to the next day on us and somehow didn't let us know. Fortunately, we caught the changes and were able to make corrections where possible. We rented a car (booked ahead of time as well and got a good price) through Thrifty. Experienced no problems, though we thought we'd have to pay more to pick the car up a few hours earlier due to the flight changing after reserving the car (didn't have to).
We booked our own accomodation straight off the motel website. (Some give AMA/CAA/AAA discounts...be sure to ask if you have this). We stayed at the Candy Cane Inn...was within walking distance and also had it's own shuttle which ran every half hour. We were happy with this motel. In our case, we found more flexibility and a better price to do it ourselves. Our attraction passes were bought from Getawaytoday and we were very happy with them as well. No hitches in delivery to Canada (they send a voucher which you redeem for your pass once you are at the park - be sure to take ID if you do this). Hope this helps...have fun planning and a wonderful trip! :sunny:
