DH and I are trying to find a reclining sofa for our home. Went to furniture store and found a Flexsteel Dylan sofa that we both loved. Came home read reviews..all of which were negative.:sad2:

Anyone own this sofa or have recommendations for a 3 seat sofa with reclining ends? Or just a solid good quality sofa in general. We currently own the Molly Sofa that is made by Lane. We are getting a reselection from the store because it hasn't held up. We are trying to stay under 2k which I know isn't a huge budget.

Thanks!!

I don't have a reclining sofa, but we do have a FlexSteel and we love it. It is very well made.

We also do have a leather LaZBoy with dual refining ends that is over 13 years and and looks like the day we bought it. Our cloth LaZBoy didn't hold up as well. The mechanics of the sofa still worked great, but the cloth wore thin and got hole-y. We do treat our leather a couple of times a year to keep it soft.

Is your Flexsteel from the Latitude line? From my research this line is made in China and doesn't have favorable reviews as the other Flexsteels that are US made.

We are now considering buying our reclining sofa from La-ZBoy and just using our credit at the other store to buy a recliner. I just want to buy furniture that looks nice and will hold up.

No, I don't believe it is. It says Made in America on it.

Sounds like you got a good one :thumbsup2 I wish this furniture store had the other Flexsteel lines, they sound great. Thanks for your help and input, couch shopping is stressful lol

I think the quality of Lazy-Boy has gone down a lot lately. I researched a lot while furniture shopping recently. That said, the quality of MOST of the brands had declined. I finally gave up and just settled on something made in America and now I'm crossing my fingers...I got a Franklin brand. It still has a lifetime warranty on the reclining mechanisms. My DH didn't want leather, so our options were VERY limited. We almost bought a Catnapper brand but it was backordered. It seemed pretty nice quality, too.
