Thought I'd start this thread to ask if those who have made flatties would share their tips for making them, making clothes and other tips. One question I have is the mickey ears with the names on some of cruise flatties - how did you do that?

I believe those were Brandies flatties - you could ask her when she gets back

Brandie is the flattie master! She did a kick-butt job, IMO!

The outfits & accessories are freakin' awesome!

I know she mentioned at one point she had a Cricut that she used in her flattie construction.

She needs to give lessons!

I will be happy to post info when I get home!

I would love to have instructions on how to create a flattie. I have a large circle of friendsand we had one member have to move away and I would love to make a flattie of her, so I can take pics at get togethers and send the pics to her.

SamSam here is a link for the Flat Stanley template http://www.flatstanley.com/template.htm

Flat Stanley is probably the original flattie. I used a manila file folder when I made one a couple years ago - it was a little bigger than the template.
