Sorry if this is somewhere else , but I just thought I'd ask as I'm confused.

If you already have a booking, how do find you find out what you can upgrade to and what the costs are? I'm interested in finding out how this works but I have no idea how to go about this as searching online hasn't got me very far. I don't fancy calling up to confuse the person at the end of the phone with my ramblings because I'm not quite sure what I'm talking about!!

Thank you :)

You need to enter your dates online (as if you're doing a new booking enquiry) and play with the different hotels to see what comes up. If you find there is a better offer then phone up and say you are considering upgrading to 'xyz hotel' and see what they price it as. If you don't want to change hotels (or upgrade rooms) then ask how much it would be to add a dining plan to your booking ..... or a birthday cake, or BBWWS tickets or a character meal .....

If there's nothing showing online for your dates then still phone because another DISer found this earlier today yet when she phoned she was able to benefit from the flash sale.

Generally speaking, there's more chance of success from dialling the French number rather than the UK one (it's 00 33 1 60 30 60 53 and dial 0844 2009090 first to get a cheap call) and if you don't get any joy just keep trying.

Good luck. :wizard:

Thank you very much for that, I really appreciate it. I'll try them and see if there is anything that I can do!

Hope you find a good deal. :) Let us know how you get on. X

I just tried this number and they just put me through to the UK site and I was quoted the full price for the meal plan. Should I just keep trying??

Yep just keep trying.... sometimes it can take a good few times before you get one who knows what they're talking about and how to keep us happy! ;) I've never had any joy with one from the UK line yet...in fact if they said they were putting me through to that line i'd just hang up and try with the French number again. :)

I haven't had a chance to call today, I've got so much work to do for uni at the moment :( I'm going to call them tomorrow, I'll let you know how I get on. To be honest when I booked it I had a pretty good deal - well I think so! It was 30% off, including travel. It's looking unlikely that I'll be able to get anything, we're going one day before one of the flash sale dates, but I'll still ask, you never know!!

Hi, I've called them the french number and got put through to the UK booking line, I could have changed the dining options that we have and could have saved a whole £2 :cool1: It would have meant leaving things out that I wanted so I didn't go for it. Doing a new booking and changing the hotel wasn't going to work out any less because of how cheap I got the eurostar tickets.

Thank you very much for helping me out with this though!!

You're welcome. Sorry to hear you didn't get a better deal! Good to hear you got a cheap deal on your eurostar tickets to start with though :thumbsup2

I know I glad about the eurostar, the person I spoke to said she couldn't believe the price. To be honest I thought I had a good deal anyway but I wont say no to extras if they are available :)

Sounds like you had a great deal to start with, but still a shame you couldn't make it better.
