Flash sale starts tomorrow on the french website

hmmmm... I figured as much. I guess our other option is book our trip at a different resort for now. WOuld it be possible to upgrade to a different hotel like you can in the states? As in even though it might not be on sale anymore, upgrade to a different hotel, or would I have to make a new booking and get the money refunded to us?

If you call the operator will probably tell you that you can only avail yourself of an offer from the country you are living in.

I seem to recall there was something about DLP on Watchdog last year, where they categorically stated that you could benefit from any countries deals, if you could quote the country and price when you phoned up. Or did I dream that :confused3

no I'm sure you didn't dream that - however getting the booking staff on the phone to allow you to do that seems to be the tricky thing.

Nothing wrong in giving it a go though!

Just found this on the BBC website - response from DLP:

A Disneyland Paris spokesperson said:

"We strive to offer all our visitors the best value and flexibility when booking a trip to Disneyland Paris, with a wide range of promotions available, adapted to suit visitors' different needs.

"The price of Disneyland Paris' regular tickets are the same in all markets with a standard one day, two parks ticket valid for a year costing 71 Euros for an adult in France to buy and £60 for an adult in the UK to buy.

"In addition, a variety of tailor-made promotions are offered at different times of the year in each market to reflect the local needs. In the case of the UK market the most popular promotions are those combining accommodation and/or travel plus park tickets so our UK promotions reflect this. For example, we are currently running an offer tailored to the UK market which gives up to 40 per cent off hotel and park tickets plus breakfast, for stays between 29 March and 7 November, including school holidays, with children under seven receiving free accommodation and park tickets. This needs to be booked by 30th April 2012 and is subject to terms and conditions.

"However, any UK guest wishing to purchase an offer seen on another official Disneyland Paris website can call the reservation office on 0844 8 008 898, where there is a process in place to help them with their booking.

"We apologise that Mrs Hughes was told in a response from our customer services team that she was unable to purchase offers seen on the French website. Disneyland Paris has a process in place to assist people with purchasing tickets seen on other official Disneyland Paris websites and we are further improving the way our team communicates this to guests."
