Ahhhh, what do I do?!?

50% sale on, but not for our hotel (HNY) on our dates but for £2 extra I can switch to SL (Main Building) and have HB+ included....

Update

I phoned and talked to a lovely lady. :goodvibes: Although it wasn't showing online there was availbilty at HNY with 50% off. So we added HB+ for the grand sum of £61.

Yaaaay!

where are you booked for originally Torsie?

for me that would be easy, I'd be going for the SL and free food :goodvibes. However, you are a lot closer to the parks at the HNY, its going to be easier popping back for late (and hot) breakfast there over the SL, and its going to be quicker to pop back for your afternoon siestas there too.

A difficult choice to make I think.

It is hard......oh dear.

If only we were going a day earlier, the 50% off is on the HNY then!!

Can you upgrade like this or would you have to cancel your existing reservation and book again ?
I never thought to look at the what prices the next hotels up were!:goodvibes

As nice as a stay at HNY would be my practical side would be saying 'free food, free food!' Think of the money you'd save not having to buy meals and then weigh up which you'd prefer - a nicer room, closer to the parks or more money to spend on souveniers..... ;)

I'd personally go for SL and the HB+ vouchers.

I always look at it like this.......You hardly spend any time in your room at disney - There isn't a huge difference in the standard type rooms at all these onsite hotels (they all need a good refurb..well apart from SL that's just been done!) and we can all use the hotels/restaurants anyway.

Any other time i'd say go with the higher end hotel but not when it comes to disney because of the points i mentioned above.

I'd go for the SL as it's got newly renovated rooms, less business center looking than the HNY. You are getting free food and it's an extra 5 minutes walk if that from the HNY to the SL

More money for the extras like souvenirs :)

With regards to the HNY being closer.... I personally still don't think this makes it worth the extra price either. I find all the hotels close enough to walk to the parks...and if you don't like the walk there is always the shuttle bus.

I forgot about the hot breakfast at HNY.....

I guess if you're saving on buying food with your meal vouchers included you could choose to still eat at HNY or DH every morning anyway for that little extra cost and still gain quite a bit anyway! Result! :thumbsup2

Now resolved - and perfectly!! Will update first post. :)

Brilliant, I'll be watching closely before we go for Flash Sales to bring the cost down or add half board vouchers on!

Great news, £61 for meals is a real bargain. :goodvibes

Thanks everyone.

I know that we've ended up paying more, and lots of you would have change to SL. But Jack and I were both excited to try a new hotel. So we're really happy to still be in HNY and have the food. :)

Theres no availability on my dates boo hoo lol
