Here's a few little snippets I thought you may enjoy.

1. You know the tunnel on the after Frontierland on the railway? The one after you've passed Indiana Jones? The one that goes through Pirates of the Carribean?

Well... all is not as it seems as your in pitch black, apparently going through rock...

Yep - that's right. You're on a bridge over a road, just before you come into Fantasyland station...

2. Some quirky 'behind the rides' scenes of obviously knackered boats!

Pirates: http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=48.874608&lon=2.771835&z=19.8&r=0&src=msl

Small World: http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=48.875895&lon=2.775917&z=19.8&r=0&src=msl

3. Another access road they don't want you to see from the railway. Notice the hedges blocking your view:

4. Look at the size of the building which houses the Grand Canyon Diorama! Also - notice another bridge-tunnel to the right.
The use of berms ( a term used for raised ground) means that you can't see that huge building from either Main Street OR Phantom Manor, despite them almost touching... clever...

5. Disney's own little railyard - all hidden from view of course.

http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=48.87203&lon=2.770908&z=19.4&r=0&src=msl

6. Look at the size of the Pirates (bottom left) and Small World (top middle-right) buildings...

It's interesting to note that Pirates, Small World and Star Tours all have entrances on the park side of the railway, but in reality they all extend far outside the railway perimiter.

7. Awww - all those pretty shop fronts in Fantasyland with the cute spires etc. And beyond it... urrgh - gray flat concrete... totally invisible to the public of course...

8. The most intriguing of all for me - this HUGE lump of EMPTY land between Pirates and Indiana Jones. Come on Disneyland, that's crying out for a ride...

How do you know whats what??? Thats amazing...I'm just confused though!!!:rotfl:

nice find!!!

That's lump of land is crying out for a large, well themed jungle style log flume I'd say. Maybe a jungle book themed version of splash mountain.

Ok, I'll wake up and stop dreaming now :)

Ooh, that would be great!!

Interesting find Matt. :thumbsup2 That's the only thing I didn't like about going up in the Panoramagique balloon, seeing the parts of buildings that are normally hidden.

lol go up in it at night everythings lit up and you can't see any of the ugly concrete! and if you time it right you can watch the fireworks up there!

Stupid work computers and their lack of flash player! Just means I'll have to do some work instead I guess :thumbsup2

Great find, thanks for sharing:thumbsup2

the big bit of that building is phantom manor...isn't it? just the thin rectangle bit is the grand canyon thing.

I can't wait till these get updates so they have ToT on there!

So it is!

Even cleverererer then...

From the front, and from BTM, it looks like the whole ride is in the themed building - but it's obviously not.

Fantastic designing.
