I am definitely going to have to eat in the pavillion. That view is awesome! I love the food, but we missed eating there the past few times we visited. It's on my must list now! Thanks.

The "Discovery River pavilion" is just my term for the very last FTB "eating area" you can go to before there is no place left to go other than into the Discovery River.

The view was even more amazing at night back when DAK still had PM EMH.

You may even spot an alligator(very small from there at times.

When you see the "interesting" detail below in the ceiling of the "eating area",you will know you have reached "the spot".

And, if you take notice, there is a very much "Circle of Life" atmosphere at the Flame Tree BBQ pavilions. Just about every one has some animal, ahem, "enjoying" another animal. I call them Death Pavilions.

I get Flame Tree BBQ and walk with my tray all the way to Restaurantosaurus to meet up with the rest of the family that like to eat there instead of Flame Tree. I do this every trip, nobody has ever blinked an eye at me walking in with my food! So go for it!
