How are the St. Louis ribs at Flame Tree? We love ribs. What about the rotisserie chicken and grilled salmon at Tusker House?

My DH had the chicken at Tusker House, it was great...very juicy and lots of flavor. We were very happy w/ our whole meal at TH, we might try Flame Tree next time there, but we'd be happy to go back TH.

everything I've had at Flametree has been great. The ribs are superb and they have a great sauce also. Them and Tusker House are both a step above regular counter service although I'm hoping that AK gets a sit down sometime. (Besides Rainforest Cafe, I don't consider it a Disney restaraunt)

We love the Tusker House. I seem to get the same thing over and over. I get the turkey wrap and bowl of soup. Dh gets a chicken sandwich, ds (toddler) gets a chicken leg and mash potatoes. It's always been good. we've never eaten at the Flame tree. I'm not into outside dining. However, the food there always smells so good. I'll have to try it sometime. I am a rib fan!

DH and I had ribs at Flam Tree and didn't care for them. Hoping to try Tusker House next trip.

My DBF had the ribs at Flame Tree and they were very juicy and fell off the bones. I had the 1/2 chicken there and it was very good as well - also juicy and I loved the seasoning.

What I also liked is the atmosphere. The tables were in different levels outside, and we sat at one level overlooking EE. Very nice. The best CS meal we had on the trip.

We think Tusker House is the best counter service meal in the parks. The rotisserie chicken and potatoes is such a nice departure from burgers and fries. We also like the roaming musicians and the dark, cool interior –– very welcoming in the hot weather. DD can get milk there, too.

I've had the ribs at Flame Tree and they were pretty good, but mine were a little fatty. But we didn't like having to sit outside in the sun.

We ate at both Flame Tree and Tusker House last week.

My DS9 and I always get the ribs at Flame Tree and we thought they were as good as always. :thumbsup2

I got the rotisserie chicken from Tusker House and I thought it was very tasty! It also comes with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables that I also thought were very good.

If you love ribs, make reservations for a meal at Whispering Canyon. You won't be disappointed!

I have never eaten at Flame Tree, but I know that Tusker House is wonderful. This is where we always eat lunch. The salmon is with rice and green beans and is excellent. I have had the chicken also, but I prefer the salmon. This restaurant is a nice departure from the burgers, pizza, and chicken fingers available at most counter service restaurants.

We've eaten at both, and I think they are both very good. If they were side by side, I would probably give Tusker House the edge. As it is, we tend to go to whichever is closest when we are hungry.

Believe it or not, the Salmon at Tusker House was my favorite meal during our last 10 day trip to Disney and Universal. We ate many table service meals including Le Cellier, Whispering Canyon etc. The Salmon plate was the yummiest and most memorable of them all! Will definitely be dining at TH next trip!

We found the ribs at FT to be tough and not very meaty. Also did not care for the baked beans. Could have been an off day, who knows? I liked the fried chicken sandwich at TH very much though. Everything else looked good too. My favorite at AK is actually Pizzafari for the hot Italian sandwich.

Love, love , love Tusker House!!! I always get the chicken. We usually get a fast pass for the safari than have lunch at TH. I just ate at Flame Tree and had the ribs. They were good, a dry rub not wet ribs (if that matters). I would still eat at TH, although FT is not a bad choice if you are in that area (just remeber you do eat outside ).

I've eaten at both, and prefer Tusker House. Flame Tree was good, but I just preferred Tusker House more.

Tusker house roast chicken is the best meal (and best deal) for a disney lunch. I always say I am going to try the salmon but the chicken is so good! If you get a seat out by the bar and the time is right you get to see some great performers!

Others prefer Flame tree but I had the ribs once and they weren't that great.

We ate at the Flame Tree last September and I had the ribs. We were on the dining plan and it also came with Key Lime pie. The ribs were okay...nothing great and it came with bakes beans and a piece of corn on the cob. I wouldn't run back there to get it again but it was okay. The pie was horrible and I ended up throwing it in the trash. We will try the Tusker House this time round and hopefully that will be as good as others have said.

Haven't eaten at Flame Tree, but have eaten a few times at Tusker and it's Yummy! Between the 2-3 trips, someone in our party has tried the rotisserie chicken, the salad, the salmon and the chicken sandwich and all got :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 . The chocolate cake there was great at well!

mmmmmmmmmmmmm Tusker House! We love it. Its so nice to get a counter service like this than the normal chicken strips or burgers! The veggies that came with the meal were wonderful. The rotisserie chicken was great too! The only thing I didn't care for was the garlic mashed potatoes...too much gaahlic (as Emeril would say).
