Flame Tree Location?

Where is this located in AK? I could swear I remember smelling the BBQ around Expedition Everest but I can't seem to find a map that lists where it's located. TIA!

It's in the main hub area (can't remember what they call it) in front of the Tree of Life. It's off to the right if you are standing in front of the Tree of Life looking at the Tree. It's sort of right at the beginning of the path you would take if you wanted to get to Asia. It is not near EE.

Correct. Flame Tree is on Discovery Island to the right of the Tree of Life as you enter the park. The path back to Asia goes past the left side of FT and the path to DinoLand runs in front of it. If the wind is right the smell could waft back over the water to EE.

You can smell it a long ways away though - always gets me hungry around 10:00 when I smell the food smoking.

Yes, it is in the Discovery Island area. We ate there for lunch and enjoyed the rib meal. However, the lines started getting long right as it opened around 11am so I would plan to eat there at non peak times if you can.

The lines may be long, but they move quickly. Also, there is lots and lots of seating around Flame Tree - the seating areas go all the way down to the water, which is one of my favorite places to enjoy a meal. Don't let long lines, and concerns about finding someone to sit, scare you away from eating there.
