1) Officially, Flame Tree closes at AK closing ("Park Hours").
2) So, it closes at 5:00pm.
3) Now, eateries must remain open until their "closing time".
4) Example:
. . . closing is 5:00pm
. . . they MUST accept orders until 5:00pm
. . . even if you walk in at 4:59pm
. . . if you walk in and are refused, the manager can be fired
. . . ON THE SPOT
. . . and, they cannot rush you out
. . . they msut remain open until you finish eating
. . . of course, they do not have to take orders after 5:00pm
5) So, if you are on-time, by the clock in the eatery
. . . they cannot refuse to take your order
. . . if they refuse, ask for the Park Food & Beverage Manager
. . . complain bitterly
6) You cannot be refused any menu item unless they are out *
7) Example:
. . . they turned off the french frier at 4:45pm to clean
. . . you order fries at 4:59pm
. . . they MUST serve you fries
. . . being "turned off" or "being cleaned" is not an excuse
. . . if refused, ask for the F&B Manager of the park
. . . the manager might not want to turn on the frier
. . . so, he is likely to give you a big "comp" to not order the fries
. . . or, get his tail into trouble
* Very seldom does an eatery physically run out of an menu item.
Managers get a really bad writeup if they are out of something, so
they do not let it happen. They may not want to take the time to cook
it, but they seldom are out. If they say they're out, ask for the mgr.
