Flag Ceremony

How sad. I got to see the flag ceremony. It looks like this is an event that could be eliminated without notice. Very few people took notice and/or do not know how to honor the flag.

Looks like we are on the way to meet Rome's destiny!!!

how sad! I have to say that I go often and I see a great deal of honor, respect and patriotism when I go. It is a MUST DO at the end of ever day for me. I see bowed heads, people singing, hat removed. Hand over hearts all of it. Too bad it was just another obstacle in the direct path out of MK the day you were there.

What time do they do the flag ceremony? I'd like to see it. I assume it's at MK?

retreat ceremony is held at 5 p.m. It is the military way of ending a day. I will be very sad to if this ends. I had heard that select veterans could be chosen to particitate. I was going to try to gt my husband in this when we go in Sep. I do not think that this would be a good time to end this tradition. My husband and myself are both veterans. 2 of our 3 children are currently active duty.
