My father is a Florida resident. We live in Georgia. He wants to purchase tickets for my husband (my children and I have Annual Passes) for an upcoming trip that we are taking together. Currently he can purchase a 4-day pass for $109 that only FL residents can buy. Can these tickets be given as a gift to family? Will they check/ ask for ID at the gate before using these tickets? (When we used to use our military tickets they always said on the ticket we would have to show military ID but they never once asked for it when we used the tickets.)

I would just like to get input from those who may live in FL and possibly purchased one of these tickets.

Thank you for your help.

Jaymie,

I can help you out, I've purchased 4 Play 4 Days passes (one last night), seasonal and annual passes and here is how it works:
When you go to the ticket window to buy or activate your pass they must get a photo I.D. with your address on it (unless you are a young child). So no, you couldn't have your father buy one and give it to your husband, b/c your husband does not have proof of a permenant residency in Florida (I'm guessing). I believe they also do a finger scan for the P4D passes and if something were to happen and your finger scan won't read the only way to get into the park would be to show a Florida ID.

Hope this helped,
Tanya
