We just bought a 4 bdrm home in Emerald Island Resort. We used Karyn Smith at Imagination Realty, she is excellent. Her site is very informative, it takes a while to go thru it all, but it's worth it and necessary b4 u dive into this. It's not for the faint of heart. We've had problems, but it's getting there. I'm actually in Florida right now buying stuff for the house!
I sent some info to another potential Cdn house shopper, I'd be glad to answer any questions u have. I tried posting on here long time ago, and didn't get an answers, so now I'm trying to help others go thru the crazy process that is a Cdn buying a US property. It was pretty stressful.
