If you need a trip to your hotel from Orlando International or elsewhere I highly recommed using the transportation services of FL Tours. Professional services and the drivers (Mike, in our case) was on time even at 4:15 am for our departure. Stretch Limo was in excellent shape. Great transportation for a family and very very cost competitive.

I have every credit card in the book however for what ever reason I wanted to test their character by not holding the reservation with a card. This could of been a disaster however as I stated this company was on time and waiting for us WITHOUT knowing if we would be there or not. You tell me where you can get that kind of trust in todays world! They are the kind of people who would return your lost wallet with all the money still in it.

5 star rating from me and my entire family. Won't even entertain using anyone else.

good to know

im thinking of using them for a transfer from disney resort to the port and then back agian to the airport.

do you know if that would include a stop at a store on the way to the port?
hoping to pick up water and some beer for the cruise.

There are many companies who you can reserve and not use a credit card. The credit card trick seems to be going out of style in favor of the round trip payment, either in cash or credit card, when you get to the resort.

A credit card quarantee is used more for someone who books the first ride, one way, from the ship back to the airport or maybe from Disney back to MCO. Than there are the times when the passengers or agents just want to pay ahead of time to make sure the company picks up their passengers.

There are a few companies that will stop going to the Port to pick up water or brew, but to my knowledge most discourage the stop because 5 miles out of Disney there is nothing until you get to the port. At the port you have to continue south, past the ship, about 3-5 miles for a 7/11, ABC or the Publix to pick up the extras. You could try to get the driver to stop at one of the Hess stations on Disney before you get going.

Disney cruise is the only cruise lines that will let you bring water or brew aboard knowingly. You have to sneak it, in your carry-on, aboard the Royal Caribbean or the Carnivals.

i have used three different town car companies and have never needed a credit card to hold the reservation. does florida tours take payment with a credit card?

Most transportation companies simply take your credit card information to secure the reservation (same like a hotel does). They do not run the credit card in advance, you pay the driver by cash or credit card (your option), when you are dropped off at your destination.

I would request a grocery stop when you make the reservation. If the people are hesitant about it than their subbed-out driver may not want to do it. Actually it is a driver decision and because the company subbs-out the ride the driver may not be told about it or may not want to take the time to do it.

If you find a company where you make direct contact with a driver your chances may be much better getting the store stop.

The best stop is the Publix in Cocoa Beach. There is also an ABC, two blocks north of the Publix, if you want to pick up liquor products.

We've paid FL Tours with a credit card several times for our limo service - just call their 800 # a few days before the trip and give them your CC information. I always double check with the driver to make sure we were on the same page and never a problem.

We've always had fantastic service with FL Tours and never a glitch or a problem.
