FL Tours disappoints

From MCO to ASMu we had a close-to-perfection trip.

On the way back, however:

1. The driver was 30 minutes early and he was somewhat rushing us to start going.

2. He just stood there while we're putting the luggages to the trunk, he didn't helped (not even offered to help) loading the trunk.

3. The same goes when we arrived at MCO, he opened the trunk and waited for us to unload the luggages from the trunk, all 6 pieces of them.

PS: on our trip back in February, they picked us up 40 minutes LATE than scheduled time.

Just a word of caution. Maybe DISboards should not be sponsored by this company anymore.
 
If he didn't help load/unload the luggage, I would not give him a tip. In my opinion, handling the luggage is part of earning the tip.
 
i agree- if the driver just stood back and watched me unload all my cases..... i would have picked up my cases waved goodbye & kept on going!
 
I usually tip $1 per bag, now lets see he handled 0 bags and 0bags at $1/bag = 0....I think the driver would get the message pretty quick...after about the second or third trip with no tip he might have a sudden change of attitude!!
 

I don't really know the tipping custom in the US and so to no offend him, I still gave him US$10 as per FL Tours website's suggestion. :(
 
If you know your driver's name then email or call the company to tell them of the situation and why it made you unhappy. Be aware though, they may blacklist you from the company like the towncar service cartier did when i made a complaint againt one of their drivers (was late, unprofesional, and did not know how to get to the airport).
