FL touring on a non EMH...

I know this has been discussed ad nauseam, but after seeing Josh' (at EasyWDW) post about RD yesterday, I am about to have an anxiety attack for our first MK day at the end of may.

This is what I have planned so far. It's a bit unorganized, and I haven't quite figured out our exact plans, but we have FP+ for A&E at 10:15/10:35

• RD at 9AM for Fantasy Land: Little Mermaid, Peter Pan’s Flight, Winnie the Pooh. Mickey’s Philharmagic, Tea Cups, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Carousel, 7DMT
• Then BTMR, Splash M and Space M
• Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, Buzz Space Ranger Spin,
• Liberty Square for HM and Sleepy Hollow for snacks,
• Adventure Land for JC, POTC
• FP+ for Anna & Elsa 10:15-11:15/10:35-11:35
• If visiting princess has a short wait and we have time, do it.
• BOG FP+ for lunch 12:45-1:15
• BTMRR FP+ 1:50-2:50
• Stake out a spot for FOF parade
• Splash Mountain 2:50-3:50 (after the parade if we wait to do it another day)


Am I correct in thinking that since our FP+ starts so early, we should just hang out in FL all morning? I don't have "little" kids, our youngest is 8, so we can skip certain things. We're also not really into doing ETWB unless we can get it later at night stand by, not using a FP on that.

All the attractions I listed are what we wanted to do, but I have no idea how to group them now. I thought maybe FL in the morning, then Frontier Land/Adventure after lunch before the parade, and then after the parade we head to Tomorrow land?

I'm so confused now lol. We are not too worried about meeting characters except for Merida and Rapunzel, and hopefully the Evil Stepmother and the Stepsisters.

eta: I do have FP+ for HM, POTC, SM, Peter Pan etc later in the trip. I am planning on replacing Peter Pan with 7DMT if it is available on may 30th.

Maybe I am missing something, but I think it's impossible that you would get all or even most of what you've listed before A&E done by 10:35. More realistic if you're shooting for the 11:15 end of the 1st FP window, but still, that sounds ambitious if you're including mountains and 7DMT.

I haven't been since 2010 either, so I'm definitely looking to hear a plan of attack on a busy non-EMH morning.

Oh I definitely don't expect to do it all before then That's why I said my plans were disorganized lol. I've totally revamped the plan a bit and hopefully it works.

since it's a 9AM RD, here's what we'll do (don't mind the numbers, copied and pasted from my itinerary)

3. Ride BTMRR, Ride again?
4. Ride Splash Mountain
5. Ride Haunted Mansion
6. Head to Fantasy Land

if we have time from 9-10:30 hopefully we can do all those three rides. If we can, I'd like to fit in something with short wait, then head to our A&E FP+. After that we will do some of FL and then head to our BOG lunch. I forgot we will be at MK on an EMH night our first day there, so I am hoping that will help us with a bit of the FL stuff so we don't have as much to knock out this day.
After our lunch we will then FP+ BTMRR at 1:50-2:50, hopefully ride JC and then wait for the parade. After parade we have a Spash FP+ for 2:50

I am sure the plans will keep evolving, I've been tweaking them for a month lol.

Where's your 3rd FP+? Maybe use that for JC? It's had pretty high wait times in the afternoon lately.

I can't comment on what you should do when but your fp for A&E includes the visiting princess. IDK if you knew that. The wording with the bullets mage it look like an additional plan. I saw the Tremaine family on the side of the castle by the Cinderella statue. Check Kenny the pirates website for when they are there. They are hysterical and IMO the m&g ever.

I was just wondering if you also saw the pictures posted here in the A&E Stampede topic? I believe those pictures were taken from two non EMH days last weekend. Much less scary, might help ease your mind a little. I know it helped me!

Well we are going on a Wednesday, which apparently is one of the best days to visit and most recommended By josh too. Hopefully our strategy works! The stampede is insane!
