Hi there! I'm planning on dropping by Universal for one day during my WDW trip this summer and since I haven't been there in almost 10 years I had a couple of ticket questions:

#1: Do they assign an image/finger scan to the FL resident tickets like they do at WDW? Or can a FL resident purchase tickets at the discount and give them to whoever they want? I have a friend in FL and it seems like this is the cheapest ticket option I've found so far.

#2- Do any of you know anywhere to get discounts on single day park to park tickets? It seems like all the best deals on 2 or more day tickets but we really can only go for one day. We already have a hotel to stay at too. I'm a member of AAA and Costco, but it seems like their only deals are for multi day or hotel packages. Any advice would be appreciated!

They do use a finger scan and you have to prove residence in Florida to use a Florida ticket, not just to buy it. There aren't really significant discounts for single day tickets, just like at Disney 1 day tickets aren't discounted.
