I was wondering about historical offers for FL residents. We are going to be visiting in June, and my dd12's best friend moved to FL last year....she will be coming for a couple of days to join us for park fun.
The current FL ticket is a 4 day ticket for $119. It expires on May 26th. We will arrive on June 2nd. Her mom was wondering if they will offer another special. I dont think they are ready to buy AP's and she is wanting the best deal. Thanks:thumbsup2

What you call "The current FL ticket" is actually a special promotion. There are a lot of savings for Florida Residents available at all times.

If you go to the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in the TPA&S Forum, especially Post #4, you can get a lot more information for Florida Residents and Post #18 shows the pricing. An easy way to get to the sticky is by clicking on the link in my signature.

I think that most of the other tickets are some type of year long or seasonal pass (listed in your post 4). They are just looking for a 3-4 day pass for her time with us and thats why I wondered if anyone thought they would issue a short ticket special like the 4 day ticket that is expiring in May.
I know they can buy a MYW pass with their FL resident discount, but it looks like it is $168 for a 4 day pass....making the current deal very good, but not in our timing.
Does WDW tend to come up with FL resident ticket specials like the current one once one has expired...kind of like discount codes and specials (ex- free dining, kids play free, etc) they have for rooms?

The Play-3 and Play-4 are pretty well discounted and are valid for and also can be upgraded up to six months from date of first use.

Last year there was also a late winter/early spring similar sale. Never expect deep discounts during the prime times of year, which includes all summer.

The play 3 and 4---is this the FL resident 3 and 4 day ticket you have in your sticky for $135 and $168? It is a nice savings from the regular price ones, but my dd's friend's mom likes the $119 price better;) She will go with a 3 or 4 day FL ticket if nothing else comes out. I was just rying to give her an idea if anything else may come along. Thanks so much for your help Cheshire Figment:thumbsup2

There is no way to get the $119 ticket after the May expiration. They had the same thing for the same time frame last year for $99 and nothing remotely similar for the rest of the year. Your best bet is to do a 3-4 day pass if that's the number of days you were planning to spend there, or to move your dates up if at all possible.

Cant move the dates...we have a room booked with free dining (must check in May 27-June 2nd). Sounds like she will be buying the 3 or 4 day pass. I think she will only actually be there 3 days. Glad to know that they offered nothing after the $99 ticket last year. That is exactly the information I was looking for:thumbsup2

Summer tends to be dry for Florida Residents deals.

Before mid-June begins the blackout for summer on the seasonal tickets. There was one summer, where they ended the blackout early due to low numbers at Disney. They were hoping the seasonal members would come and spend some cash. Though you are still in the non-black out period. But they don't typically offer a new deal in that last stretch before summer.

Have a great trip.

Thanks...I will pass that info on to her mom:thumbsup2
