fl resident seasonal pass, why not?

I've had the Seasonal Pass for as long as it's been available - LOVE IT! Really, you couldn't pay me to set foot in WDW during the black-out periods anyway, so I'm not losing anything in the deal.
No, parking is not included, but I'd have to go 10 days in a year to recoup the price difference between the Seasonal without parking and the Annual with parking included. Most of our trips include a stay at a WDW resort, which give us free parking anyway. No way will we be there more than 10 times without spending the night.

I love it and will do it again. There isn't a single thing I don't like about it. The only days that are blacked out are days that I wouldn't set foot in the parks anyway. The parking isn't an issue since I always park at the hotel and leave my car there anyway.

We love our FL Res AP's as well. We always stay on property, so parking is free anyway.

Yep, see we have to get at least an AP because we stay off-site, so we want that free parking (we go plenty so that it pays for itself).

Unofortunately, WDW does not have a resort that allows pets in the room (and our Odie sleeps with us EVERY night). I think Universal has a resort that allows dogs but, I'm not sure.

So, we're normally at the Residence Inn, WITH our pup!

Does anyone remember how long we have been able to purchase the Florida Residence Pass? The furthest back I can remember, when I purchased my first pass (and every year since) was in the early 80's. Remember over at the TTC where we had to have our photo's taken for the pass then wait for them to finish the hard cards. I guessing it's been about 20 year now.

I also like the current school schedule in NW Florida and love the breaks it gives the kids. I try to schedule all our family vactions around it. I don't think I will like the proposed new schedule at all. By the way I got an AP discount for CBR at $94; thats a great deal and the reason we are going in the Fall. Again if I lived closer I would probably have the Deluxe Pass to enjoy the water parks too.
