FL Resident-Seasonal Pass VS. Annual Pass

I didn't know they had these, how much are they?
Waterpark hopper APs are $99.95 adult, $80.50 child (plus tax). Also there is a Waterpark and DQ hopper AP which is $129/$99.

The previous poster gave you the price, which sounds about right. There is no discount for them, although there is an AP discount for a day pass to the water parks.

I have to say that I won't do this again next year. We only used them 3 full days, and with the AP discount, it would have been cheaper to buy a day admission. My DD is at that stage where she's not happy to be seen in a bathing suit, and they spent most of the summer at camp. We went over one day during the blackout, and ended up getting rained out.

Sorry but this is wrong. We drove down to go to Star Wars weekends the first day of the blackout period when we had seasonal APs. Urgh. We looked into upgrading, it costs the same weither you have a year left or a day. NO PRORATING. I still think the seasonal pass is the best deal Disney has. Just be mindful of your dates!

I find that amazing since I called Disney maybe 3 weeks ago with this question and was told they prorate it!!

I was JUST ABOUT to post this same question!! Trying to talk DH into getting them, since we live in FL now. But I would not bother getting one for my daughter, she does not turn 3 until over 1/2 way through the year, so what is the point. I am still trying to pick between the 2. We have yet to have anyone come down to viisit, and the 'busy times' I try to avoid anyway, because it is less enjoyable in my opinion, w/ little kids.

When you say you "called Disney" what office or location did you talk to. The people at Reservations/Disney Travel only sell tickets and packages. They never meet the Guests face to face and they do not deal with any upgrades of tickets which have already been issued. I work in a water park Guest Relations and ticket sales and deal with everything from special event tickets up through PAPs.

Remember, if you're military, you can purchase the vouchers for these tax free at Shades of Green. I paid $219 for my FL seasonal pass. I think it would have been something like $238 at the gate.

We get the Seasonal Passes and have found that even doing a number of day trips we tend to prefer spending the night. In both of the years we have done this we wouldn't have come out ahead getting a Annual for just the parking savings.

I have found that I don't want to be at Disney during the blackout dates becuase it is too hot or crowded.
I feel the same way! If people come down and go during my black out dates I simply don't go, because basically the black out dates are the busiest times of the year or the hottest! I guess I am spoiled being able to go during the slower and more comfortable times of the year. And I too schedule several times during the year when I stay on site thus not having to pay for parking, and my other trips no where come close to the extra money for an annual pass.
