I have an aquaintence that is a Florida Resident that told me that she can get a season pass to WDW for $35.00 for the year! Is this true? It sounds impossible!

I purchased my FL resident seasonal pass thru the military and it was $193.60. That was the best price I could find anywhere. They do have blackout dates during the summer and around the major holidays which we avoid anyways. You may want to check around and make sure that it is a reputable business/website before you purchase.

hope someone can answer this one for me... my dad recently moved to St. Pete's - he is planning on 1/2 yr there and 1/2 yr in NY - he did get a FL ID card but kept his NY drivers lisc. - question is can he still buy a Fl resident annual pass? He does have a mailing address there and the ID card?

You can pretty much be assured that it is some sort of scam. it goes on a lot down here. There are a lot of low lifes that will be very happy to take your money and give you nothing or something useless for it! Buyer beware!

PS : if this was legit. there would be people lined up for miles. :rolleyes: :magnify: :confused3

the seasonal pass is $199.00 for the first year. and I think it's 169.00 to renew after that. someone get me a 35.00 pass, please!

The price has gone up again this year. New tickets are now two hundred-some odd dollars, renewals are $192.77. We just renewed ours last week. {that cost is WITH the tax included in the price}

We just moved to FL last month, and were thinking of getting the season pass.

How do you know what the blackout dates are?

They vary from year to year, depending on when some holidays fall. This years dates are: March 19th, 2005 to April 1, 2005 { Easter}
June 11, 2005 to August 18th, 2005 {summer months}
December 22, 2005 to January 5, 2006 Christmas time}

Free parking is NOT included with this pass.

He can still get a FL Resident Annual Pass with his Florida ID card. After all, he IS a resident if he has an address and ID card!

I think your friend is mistaken. The cheapest pass Disney offeres FL residents is the the one day pass which goes for $53.75 and 1 day hopper is $59.75.

If they passes where $35 a year the parks would be packed with FL residents that no one esle could probably get in. On the dates that wasn't blacked out.

Absolutely untrue, unless he's upgrading from some other ticket and that's the upgrade charge. Various other theme parks have different deals, though -- he may be thinking of SeaWorld or elsewhere.

:earsboy:

I know it wouldnt only cost $35, but isnt there some sort of FL resident EPCOT after 4:00pm annual pass that cost maybe less than $100? If I remember correctly, the annual pass for the water parks alone are around $100 so no way would the regular parks be only $35. sounds like someone is really pulling your leg :flower:

We got Fla. season pass when we lived in Fla. a few years ago. We no longer live there but we still renew passes every year in case we want to go during that year. All we need when we renew is last years pass and money.

Seasons passes to Gatorland are around $35. :) I agree, you aren't going to be able to get a Season's pass to WDW no matter where you live for less than a one day ticket.

Hi...Disney has a golf pass for $35 that lets you play very cheap golf spring summer and fall...

Resident pass is great...also the Disney Dining Experience for residents is wonderful...pass is about $70.00 ($60 with both residence and annual pass) and gives you 20% off at almost every Disney restaurant on both food and booze. It is good for up to 6 people in a party...We ate at Boma's and total bill was over $400 dollars and the card paid for itself in one meal!!!

We use it lot as it makes Disney very attractive for Dining...works on Character Meals right up to the fanciest places...Ted

We've done that twice already with the same situation (have "FL only" ID & NY DL too). As long as you have FL ID you're good. It will have your local addy on it. I don't even bring my NY liocense with me into the parks.

Actually, the "new" Disney Dining Experience card is now available to anyone with an AP< and the cost is now $50. The benefits are basically the same. All Florida residents can now renew their DDE cards at the same price, which is less then what renewals were previously.
