I was very surprised to see the lousy FL resident rates offered from mid-Aug to late Sept. I know some of these periods offer free dining but the time frame I was looking at didn't. Maybe it's just on the values and moderate resorts?
Although I can tell the DVCs are somewhat discounted but I was taken back to see it's still $15 more a night there than the July-early Aug FL discount. I waited for these rates to come out thinking it would be less, but I was wrong.
We were planning on a non-Disney park visit and still plan on one but also looks like we will also stay off-site too. We enjoyed staying at SSR one summer for a trip like this. At night we went to DTD but it looks like one of the DTD resorts is where we might up. Or for that matter we may just go to Universal instead and stay at one of their resorts and forget about WDW altogether...
