I just purchased Florida Play Three Days Passes at the Disney Store and was surprised I could not add the Park Hopper option on at time of purchase. The associate told me we would have to purchase the upgrade when we hand in the vouchers. Does anyone know if the upgrade will be the same $20 I would have paid if I purchased online? I really hope so.
She also mentioned that we might be able to redeem the vouchers and upgrade the tickets when we check into the Pop Century, anyone know if this is true? That would be cool and a timesaver.
She also let us know that Disney no longer owns the Disney Stores, they were bought out by The Childrens Place. And she cannot get any kind of employee discount at Disney Parks, hotels, etc. Bummer!

Yes they were sold to the childrens place. It will be the $20.00 to upgrade to a hopper. If you are going at any other point in one year it makes a ton more sense to buy the Florida resident seasonal pass as it is only $75.00 more for a whole year ( with black out dates).. if you are going during a black out date then you can upgrade at the end of the trip.It will also get you a discount on the rooms at the Disney resorts and you can get the DDE card. But that is just my .02 cents worth. Oh and I am not sure if you can so that at POP ... I think you can but I am not 100% sure.

Well even if you go next year just move your trip up by a week to use the pass and it still saves you a ton of money on hotel and not having to but passes again...... again just my .02

I appreciate the advice, but as I said I only go once a year, if that much and don't want to have to worry about fitting a trip in around the seasonal pass. The Florida 3 day pass is a good enough deal for me (and 3 park days are more then enough in 1 trip)and I utilize the Florida resident hotel discounts which have been either the same or within $10 a day of the passholder rates the last few years.
My main question really is if anyone knows if I can redeem the vouchers when we check into the hotel or do we have to go to guest services at a theme park?
