FL people current weather question

How has the weather been the past week? I am coming on sunday and all next week it say's tunderstorms. I have been to FL in Sept before and the tunderstorms were just rain for like 1o minutes but never been there when a hurricane was coming so the question is hows it been rain wise. Still 10 minute showers or all day showers. Please let me know what to expect this time.

I ahve given up predicting this year's Florida weather! LOL
It's been typical here the last few days.

Lots of tropical moisture in the air....which feels different from our usual humidity. It's not terribly hot, it just feels like the air is "heavy".

And there's another hurricane out there....chances are it's heading north, but if it gets close enough to the east coast, we'll get some bad weather.

Can't wait for this hurricane season to end.
