My question is related to the seat sizes on the FJ ride. How big are they exactly? Could someone post a "I'm a size 12, 14, 16, etc, and was able to ride." I keep on hearing the seats are small, and many people can't ride, and if I'm too large to ride, I'd rather know now then be disappointed later.

My daughter & I are size 16 and we got to ride on Sunday. My son is 6'3" and 245 lbs and he got to ride on Saturday(he didn't go on Sunday). Preds who is 5'8" and 235-240 lbs got to ride on Saturday and was refused on Sunday as they changed the policy of who got to ride.

Good to know. I will probably be able to ride then. :goodvibes

Thanks for posting this. Did Preds have any problems when they rode on Sat??? What is the policy change from sat to sun?? Did they handle it nicely? I thought they had larger seats in the last row???

There is only one row of seats per car. There has been rumour that there are some bigger seats on the way, but they are not operational yet.

According to Preds post on the WWOHP thread, he had no problems on Saturday so I think it was a matter of his chest size, width etc. and the restraint not clicking as it should somehow causes the ride to shut down. They were also not very nice in their refusal of Preds and one TM even pointed to him after the ride and commented that he was too big to ride. They need to give their TMs some sensitivity training, imho.

The insensitivity is what worries me. I know they are not as guest oriented at Universal and I would hate for my wife to be embarrassed like that, it really would ruin the trip, at least for a day or two.

I need to make a correction about the TMs comment, I just went back and reread Preds' post. The comment was "he didn't get to ride", but the pointing out was still rude and he said the other TMs who pulled him off the ride were rude also.
