Five hours to ride the Potter rides (and anything else)

Hey guys! So I am attending a private event from 10-2 at the WWOHP this week. Unfortunately, the rides will be closed during that time. Our tickets get us in at 5pm, however, and so we have those 5 hours to explore the park beforehand and hopefully get on the rides. My only two priorities are getting onto Gringotts and Forbidden Journey- I am not a coaster person and the Hogwarts Express will be open for us to ride later. I would also love to check out other areas of Universal/IoA if possible! I am a Disney person and have never been to Universal before. Anyway, do you have any strategies for arriving at 5pm and ensuring that I get on both rides? I'm not sure which one I should hit first. I'd probably be more disappointed if I miss Forbidden Journey, but I assume the Gringotts line is longer. Thanks for your help!

Gringotts will probably cut it's line around 7 (leakycon event eh?) so I would probably do that first. Since it's such a hot mess and still going down constantly I would make sure knock that one out first lest it go down for the night and you're sol.

They have to close at 10pm for maintenance. Whether they will reopen after that I'm not sure.

That's why entry was pushed back to 5pm - gives em more time to hop on the rides.
