Fitting in Seven dwarfs mine train

Some good photos here of the lap bars, especially the photos at the top of the photo section (scroll down to lower part of page).

Thanks for the link.

This photo worries me:

I'm bigger than that guy, and my wife isn't the size of a child. So... :scared:

I don't think you guys need to worry. This guy looks very tall and pooh-sized, and he seems to be fitting just fine! Plus it looks like he might have an adult next to him.

The photos midway down the photo section, right after the Hall of Presidents, make the lap bars appear to be quite a distance away from the riders.

These were the best photos I could find of the inside of the ride vehicle. They should have used a single lap bar and made children ride on the non-exit side.

anyways, hope this helps:

Seems very narrow on the legs if you look at the normal looking guy in the back row:

Ahh, I see, both a lap bar and a grab bar. That box on the floor in the second picture has to be temporary, no place to put your feet, at least my feet.

I don't think so, it appears to be outside the area of where your feet would go. It looks no wider than the armrest above it.

For me, it did feel like a tight fit. I'm 5'10 250 and my legs were crammed into the space before the lap bar. The only minor flaw in an otherwise great ride.

I rode twice on Friday, and would agree that it isn't the most comfortable fit. First time I did pull the restraint down as far as I could so was VERY uncomfortable with my legs pinned together, second time I didn't pull the restraint down as far. Still not super comfortable, but much better. I am 5'5 and wear a size 20 for a reference.

I took the last picture shown in Lugnut's post above (it's from the RideMax blog), and now that I've been on the ride myself, I do think this may be tight for some.

I'm 6'7" and didn't have trouble fitting despite the long legs. But the space for the legs in the lapbar is very narrow from side-to-side, and could cause problems for some. I think the advice to not pull it down too far is good (as long as it's still down far enough to be safe).

We rode last week. The dual lap bars are very nice, since we often ride together and are not the same size. The thing I will say about the bucket type seats is that it is true not everyone's bucket is the same size or shape.;) It is a great ride, and not long enough to be truly uncomfortable, as others have said, it is worth not clicking the lap bar clear down.

The box is probably permanent, and it looks like it is right underneath the seat.

Who in the world designed these ride vehicles? :confused3

We are heading there in 2 weeks and can't wait to ride it! I'll let you guys know if my pooh sized DH fits.

I just rode SDMT this evening and while it was a bit snug, it wasn't horribly uncomfortable. I'm 5'10 and curvy (a lady never tells her weight lol) and felt okay
