Fitting in Moana Journey of Water

My kids are super excited about Moana's Journey of Water and want to see it in the day and at night. We are going middle of November. Wondering what a good strategy is to fit this in?Rope Drop (although staying off site) or might it be too cold to fully enjoy at 9am? Thanks for any suggestions!

I don’t think you need to rope drop this. We got to the park around 10:30 on Saturday, when it seemed pretty crowded, and just walked through the attraction without a wait. The attraction itself was somewhat crowded but it just meant sometimes having to wait like 30 seconds to get to a particular feature. Maybe we just got lucky but the way people just flow through makes me think you won’t have trouble. I would just plan to do this when you’re near that part of the park. It was pretty hot when we went but we didn’t actually get wet so I don’t think the weather should make a huge difference.

If it is too busy, they will open a Virtual Queue for it. Otherwise, you should be able to walk right in. I would avoid too early in order to not be cold and wet to start the day off.

It really isn’t hard to do this attraction. We were just at Epcot two days ago on a Saturday during food and wine and when Frozen was down the entire day. We were still able to walk into JOW when we were already in that area without any further strategy. My mom was using an ECV so we didn’t do everything in it and we stuck to the dry path but even so I think you’ll be fine without strategizing it.
