Fitness room-Poly/GF?

I read somewhere that Poly does not have a fitness/workout room but that you can use GF's. Has anyone done this?
Can you tell me what the fitness center is like?
And is it free of charge...and you just bring your resort id card?

Yes, you can use the GF's fitness room which is in a free standing building with the Spa. It is almost as close to some of the Polynesian buildings as it is to the GF.

It is free to guests of the Polynesian and GF these days. As you said, just take your room card.

I don't remember much about the fitness set up, other than it was very nicely done. The lounges however, are wonderful. They offer one for men and one for women. Each has their own sauna, steam room, whirlpool, lounge with comfortable furniture, cold water, tea, fruit, changing area, showers stocked with a supply of hair care products, disposable razors, combs, mouthwash, etc. My DH is a healthclub nut and sets aside some time each day to visit the GF's.
