I did it! I entered all yesterdays food on yesterdays fitday
Ok I'll admit it - if I was going over with my calories Id just add them to either a good day in the past or to a day in the future
Well this morn I finished entering yesterdays foods on yesterdays fitday. Starting a new day today.

Anyone else every cheat on fitday?

Nope. :) The thought never even crossed my mind. I'd only be cheating myself and I've done enough of that over the years.

Brutal honesty! That's my mindset right now. :)

Stay strong, Barb, and you'll get rid of those last few pounds in no time. :)

I don't cheat on Fitday and the reason is that I want to be able to track myself.

There are days when my final tally is above (even WAY above) what I'd like, but that was in the past, and the next day, I'm ready to start again. There are also days when it is below what I want it to be.

But that's what I like about how I have made this lifestyle change. I eat what I want, when I want. (That's the all day grazing. It works for me! ) I can look back on Fitday and see for the past 9 months what I have done. In the journal part, I usually just journal my exercise, but if it's a big calorie/fat/carb day Imight acknowledge the why of that.

Also, I don't look at this as a day by day thing to beat myself up about. I take the whole week, if I need to. I know that in a week, if I have eaten 3500 extra calories, I'll be up a pound. If I've been "good" (hate that term), and eaten 3500 calories less than my body needs, I'll be down a pound. Sometimes my body needs a day or two to recognize that :teeth: , but it will! I think weighing yourself every day is counter-productive. (I do it, but I understand the movement of water and weight really well.) :hyper:

Now, you've reminded me! I haven't logged in my peanut butter toast yet. . .and Curves closes in 2 hours! Off I go!

I try to be brutally honest on Fitday. However there are days when I don't put my food in because I know I've eaten off plan. Isn't this silly? My body already knows I've eaten it, why is it so hard to admit it in Fitday??? I need to work on this.....

I like the fact that you can go into the 'calendar' function and click on the day you need to finish. I usually get halfway through my 'food' list- and do the rest the following day.

It really gives me a good look at my consumption for the day, so thanks to whoever posted the link first........ because this is a great tool for me on my lifestyle change. ::yes::
