Here is my FitBit Profile (Christina H.): https://www.fitbit.com/user/29K36L if you want to follow me.

So, my first question: has anyone used their FitBit at Disney World? I am soooo curious to see what my steps will be for the week I am there. But I feel like if I don't walk fast/purposeful, it doesn't count my steps. I'm totally fine with it but just wondering how much meandering vs. purposeful walking I will do at Disney...

Welcome Tigers Lions. I would love to know how many steps a week at WDW would be. I bet a lot. I Don't have any WDW plans. I wish I had my fitbit when I spent a week in San Diego. We did Uss Midway ship, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Sea port and 2 trips to Target.

I'm gradually upping my goals.
1st goal was 2500
2nd goal was 5000
3rd goal is 7000
4th goal will be 10,000
5th goal 12,000
6th ?

I would love to know what everyones typical daily steps are.

I just got my fitbit last week. I'm already having trouble trying to get it to charge! I would love to get about 6000 steps a day.. with a long term goal of 10,000.

Those are some great goals! Doing things gradually and celebrating each accomplishment is a great confidence builder. I think some people try something too challenging to start, get frustrated, and convince themselves they can't do it so they end up doing nothing and giving up. Plus, life is so much better when you have a goal whatever it may be. Something to constantly improve yourself. Anyway, here's my results from last week. I use MyFitnessPal to track my calories but I just haven't felt like doing it so that is why it shows I haven't lost any weight, etc. I'm still trying to find a food lifestyle where I don't have to count every calorie. Right now, just not eating added sugar. It really helps. My cravings are nowhere near what they used to be. I also am very proud of my average sleep! I've been working towards 7 hours and 15 minutes but I was over last week!

I've been eating somewhat better. At work I take a salad and some fruit. I also take cucumber slices or celery for snacks and a couple bottles of water. Dinner is what I need to work on.

I have my fitbit synced to my walgreens rewards so I'm earning walgreens money too :) I've earned over 2490 points so far just with the fitbit . Most of my points are from my RX's . I have 30,240 points which is worth $35 but I'm waiting for the 45,000 pts for $50

Cool! I didn't know FitBit and Walgreen's worked together. I will be checking that out!

yes earn some $$ to get fit :) I'm saving up walgreens money for snacks and water for dec trip. I might use the next round for beauty stuff . I know once I start losing weight I might wanna wear make up once in awhile lol! Or some small Christmas treats

Tonight I was getting my fruit snack bags ready for work tomorrow. My daughter comes up to me and runs her hands down the side of my back and says, " Mom, your getting skinny."

WOW I didn't expect that -lol! made me motivated to finish up my 7,000 steps tonight. I just feel so warm like a fever on and off. I feel like I'm getting my chest cold. This weekend it was my throat and nose.

here's what I've noticed..
-my breast feel smaller :/
-DD sais my back and sides look skinny :)
-I'm getting saggy butt syndrome in my pants-lol! In the morning jeans fit just right but after 2-3 hour pants feel relaxed and by the end of the night I feel saggy butt pants-lol!

My stomach will be the last to go and its the one part that makes me look FAT! I'm apple shape :/

I told dd I hope to start some 2-5 lbs hand weights and work on my arms. now if I could just feel better

I love my fitbit one. I love being able to track my steps. My goal on fitbit is currently 7500 steps/day, but in my tracker notebook, my goal is 10k.

Yesterday I had my highest day yet (granted I went to a widespread amusement park). I can't post photos because I am mobile, but I hit 21k in about 14 hours. The best part about that kind of walking is you don't even realize that you're getting in so many miles!

When I was there last year I got about 20,000-25,000 steps each day.
It'll be different for each person, but you will get a lot of steps. You'd be amazed how much "purposeful" walking you do even when you don't realize it.

I can't wait!!! We leave on Friday morning!!!:dance3:

TigerLions- Just saw this. I'm sure your probably in bed-loL! I'm 3-4 hour behind you in time. Have a great trip and can't wait to see the numbers. I went to WDw almost 6 years ago and it was a lot of walking but well worth it :)

I've noticed issues with my fitbit. not sure if is counting correctly. I have to sync it several times. Oneday it even said looking for .

Well I'm fighting this darn chest cold. My energy is low.

I was looking at myself in the mirror and my tummy looks lower so I take it as a good thing-lol! My breast feel like their shrinking :/ I thing my stomach is shrinking to because I'm not eating as much and I'm eating less than before. I also noticed that I don't feel a lot of inflammation in my body. I still get muscle soreness but the inflammation seems gone.

TigersLions- I cant wait to hear about Disney!!

How is everyone doing???

I'm curious what type of fitbits you all have, as I said I have the flex.

I have the One. I love it.
The main reasons I went with the one over the flex are the screen (as far as I know, the flex doesn't have one) and the fact that I wear a watch and bracelets, so I didn't want something else on my wrist.
