FITBIT? Has this been discussed?

I got mine at Best Buy. It didn't look like there were any price differences between the product site, Best Buy and Amazon. I didn't really look anywhere else. Since I was going near BB that day and I am too impatient to wait for shipping I just ran in and picked it up!

Loving it! Slept with it last night.


Does anyone know if you HAVE to wear it on your wrist at night? The way I sleep I could clip it on the back of my pants and I would prefer that.

I was going to run down to Best Buy this afternoon and get one but if I order through Amazon I can save on the sales tax.

ETA: Hmmm.....if I pay an extra $3.99 I can get it tomorrow. Decisions, decisions.

I have Prime & mine was scheduled to arrive tomorrow - I just got it!

Ran up & down the stairs 5 times - it only showed 3, but it is all good. It counted the first one at exactly the top & then I was not paying attention after that. Too excited

Too bad I have to sit on my tush today & work hopefully this will help with making good use of breaks

I got mine on Sat. I ordered from The Fitbit website. It took 11 days to be delivered!!! I previously checked our local Best Buy but they were out if stock.

I would order from Amazon if I had to do it again. They ship so much faster than Fitbit.

You know, there is a benefit to ordering through them though. When their newest one came out, we had only had ours a few months. I emailed wanting to see if by any chance they would exchange them. I didn't expect them to, but thought I would ask. They actually would have except we had gotten ours off Amazon and they wouldn't in that case.

I have prime too and I could have gotten it on Friday. but I sprang for the $3.99.

I think we are going to Animal Kingdom this weekend so it will be interesting to see.

I've been looking at the FitBit site. It sounds like a lot of people on this thread have, "The One" (with sleep tracker)? Is that the same as the ultra? I don't know, it seems like there are several different ones. I'm interested. Wondering if I will use it more than my pedometer. I would like to see if the pedometer is as accurate as it appears. Hmmm.

Still waiting for my Fitbit from Amazon but I set up my account & joined the DIS Friends group.

Now, can we add each person in the group as a friend? Is that what you should do? How does the "friends" option work anyway.

I have no idea how to send a request. I did get one random guy send me a request & it just came to my email & I just hit accept & he was listed as a friend.

What do the Fitbit experts suggest to do re: friends. Have lots? Very few? Only people you know?

You can "friend" people and then they show up in your mobile app (groups do not). I say the more friends the better! I like to have people to urge me on. .

I got my FitBit One during the Black Friday sale at Best Buy. It wasn't on sale but I knew I wanted it. I LOVE IT!!! I can't say enough good things about it. It is so motivating to me!

I've recently started to watch my time active during the day. Wow, what an eye opener. I spend an obscene amount of time sitting at my desk :x So my next goal is to shift the %'s around to less sitting and more activity.

I just love everything about it. The size. The data. THE FLOWER *swoon* I also just signed up with DIS group on FitBit.

I don't wear mine on my wrist and I have consistent data with when I was trying it on my wrist. I just push the button for sleep and it works fine.

The ultra has been discontinued, although you can still order what is left. "The One" is the updated Ultra, at least according to Amazon.

Mine was purchased at Brookstone. Same $99.00 price.

Is this the Best Buy one? If so it is no longer valid. Best buy changed the terms and made it a one day noly thing, which expired the 21st. I was bummed when I found that out.
