Does anyone do Fitbit while walking around Disney? I just got one & boy I wish I had this when I visited WDW earlier this year. I wonder what kind of mileage/steps I would have gotten. I plan on bringing it for my next trip for sure!

I recently got one and plan to wear it on our trip next month!

I had just gotten one a bit before our last trip.

Our shortest distance was 6 miles and the longest was over 10.
If you have a Fitbit One, be careful with it. The little holder for it is made of silicone, which is slippery. If you clip it to a place on slippery fabric with a lot of movement, it can work its way off ( for example, on the waistband of a pair of nylon shorts).
I lost, but found mine again. Then I started clipping it to my bra strap.

it's different from a fit bit, but very similar....

I just came back from a 4 day trip to Disney world...

What you don't think about it all the time WAITING in lines and such that REALLY reduce your activity time and step counts.

We are a pretty GO! GO! GO! family that tries not to waste any time and my stats were the following:

3h21m of moderate activity (and that was starting at 9am, until 11:30pm)

20,625 steps

The next day was:
2h 12m moderate actiity

13,859 steps

And then the last day was:

2h 20m of moderate activity

15,069 steps

Hope that helps people with their projections and planning <3

I wore it last September. My highest day was 21,000 steps or 10 miles!!! I love my fitbit. I've had it for a year and a half and wouldn't be without it!

I have just completed week 1 with my fitbit. I got it through work as part of a walking challenge. I've already lost 3 lbs! I would love to see what walking around Disney would do for me. I remember getting back to the hotel & my legs just being in pain from all the walking when we went in May. I wonder how far we actually walked. The other poster is right though, I wonder how much of it is standing around waiting? I'd love to hear about everyone's totals while walking around a particular park!

My fitbit numbers were very similar to disneylover1980's

We did an extra flower and garden festival tour one day and I was right at 20000 that day. The other days were between 13,000 and I think 18,000. I did like looking at those numbers on my charts.

I have a fitbit one and I was pleasantly suprised at the number of floors that I climbed. There really are some hills in those parks. -- although one day for some reason it must have gotten confused on the rides because that number got way too big. All of the other days that number was reasonable too.
