My DB is desperate to go on a fishing trip. I've weighed up the options and it seems that we are best trying to get one from Clearwater area or St. Petes.

Can anyone give me any advice as how to go about this, he doesn't want to go on a massive boat full of people, and he wants to catch some BIG fish:fish: (he doesn't want much!!)

I used http://www.tarpontoms.com/index.html 2 years ago. Capt Lenny was very good and we had a great time. I know he services that area and could take your boyfreind in either salt or freshwater depnding on what he wants to do. Keep in mind guide trips are alot more than party boats but if you want to avoid the crowds its the way to go.

My property manager is an avid fisherman and recommends this guided fishing service. He has used them several times, they are based on the east coast though (close than west coast). They offer all different kinds of fishing, and it is small and personalized. It all depends on what fish are biting / what's in season, and what you are after.
