fishing tours

I am planning to take my DH and 2 DD on a fishing tour the 1st week in June. Who has gone? Was it worth the time? and which tour did you take?

We just returned and my husband and father did this. They did the 7 am tour out of Ft. Wilderness and fished Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon. They both really enjoyed it and caught about 14 or 15 fish each in the time they were there. They were very impressed with their guide, Dave. My father said he really enjoyed it but he's not sure if he'd do it again only because of the cost. My husband said he would love to do it again, he would just have me post on the boards and look for someone to share it with to keep the cost down. They both came back saying they really enjoyed it though!

We went on the fishing excursion last summer. We went on the first one offered, around 7:30am I believe. We left from the Contemporary. It was great. There were five of us-- my husband, me, son(17), daughter(23), and her husband (23). I don't like fishing but I loved this trip. The guide keeps your hook baited for you and takes the fish off when you reel it in. We plan on going again next trip.


** In the summer I would definitely go on the early excursion. It wasn't nearly as hot and our guide said that the hotter it gets, the less the fish bite.
