Fishing License

I planning on taking my fishing tackle with me on our next trip.
I was wondering where to buy a rod license and how much it'll cost?
I'm going to be fly fishing in the shallows not go out in a boat so I'm not looking for an all in package.

I think my best bet will be to find a local tackle shop and I will be able to ask there the best places are to fish at the same time.

They're sold in tons of places - Walmart, K-Mart, Bass Pro shops, most bait and tackle shops, etc.

You need to keep it on you, but if I remember, they are paper, so you need to not get it wet
