Fishing IN January - WL???

We're heading back to the World in January (Fingers crossed) and would like to know about the Fishing exercusions. How do you know which one to pick? I've heard take the early one before it gets hot, since its January would it really matter? Thanks for your help!

Well, I really cannont say first hand, or really answer any questions about the cost of the bass fishing or the weather when you go.

But, I have someone I know who went to disney and LOVED the fishing excursions. I believe once they went in 7 seas lagoon and the second time went fishing on the lagoon near the boardwalk. he showed me pics of the fish they caught and they were huge and beautiful looking bass. he said the guides are really great and know where all the fish are.

he said he would go back to WDW just for the fishing if he could.

Tookm the 4 hour one in May (7 to 11) great fishing throught out the trip.

Was going to post here this morning but forgot. Man, took a while to find.

My daughter, son in law and two kids did this the Sunday before Memorial Day, from the WL. They had a wonderful time. They did the 7 am slot to avoid the warmer temps. Between my SIL and two kids they caught about 15 pretty good size bass. DD was the picture taker and you could see the CR, Poly and GF in the backgrounds so they covered a good piece of the two lakes. Will try to get daughter to sit down and post some pictures. They said it was well worth the money. Going in January, I would be prepared for some cool temps.
