Fishing excursions?

Just looking for opinions on some of the fishing excursions available. My DH and DS's 11 and 12 are really into fishing lately. I thought it might be nice to incorporate this into our next disney trip. The new one at CBR sounds good, but can only accomodate 1-2 people. We will be staying at BCV. Has anyone done the Boardwalk excursions and how is the dockside fishing at POR?

We have done several fishing excursions. My husband, DS12, DS6, and DFI are doing one again this year. My oldest son likes the one out of the YC marina. He enjoyed fising in Epcot the most. They have done a combonation of the 7am and the 10am with the ones out of the YC and the Wilderness. They have done one every year for the last 5 years. Just the boys go. I take our DD11 to the GF spa for a girls morning. They supply all the fishing equipment and the guides have been really quite fun. Last year by the boardwalk DS5 (at the time) caught a turtle. He thought that was the best. On the Seven Seas Lagoon they caught typically about 7-10. In the Epcot, they caught typically 15-20.

We always go on fishing excursions when at WDW. On our trip last December, we went twice - once at Bay Lake (we drove over to the WL and picked it up there, though you can pick up from any of the MK resorts) and once from the BW. We enjoy both, though the BW one is easier for us since we usually go on the 7am excursion and, since we stay at BWI, it's easy to just pop out of bed to get there on time. We usually catch quite a few at both locations - in December we caught more at Bay Lake. We love these excursions and they are always one of the high points of our trip.
