Fishing Equipment allowed on FW's internal bus?

Getting ready to leave for WDW. My boys are spending one day fishing at the Fort. They have several rods and reels they are wanting to take with them. We will have a car, but I know we will have to park it at the front lot. Will they allow all the fishing gear onto the internal bus? If not, how far is it to walk to the 300 loop?

Are you saying you are not staying at the Fort, but plan to come to the Fort from another resort to go fishing?

Yes, that's exactly right. We are planning on a day at FW to fish.

We have never done it but have seen a guy with a pole on the bus. As long as it doesn't have a hook, I'd think the driver wouldn't have a problem as long as the bus isn't packed.
Also you can fish most water at WDW. We have caught some nice fish at CR and what was Dixie Landings.
